Hello there...
I snuck in a little crafty time in the studio this afternoon. It felt good to create something just because....I don't do nearly enough of that these days.
I whipped up a little get well card to share with you.
I used the Sheet Music impression plate on the vintage cream background. I wanted a bit of a pattern without being too distracting from the focal point at the bottom of the card.
I layered quite a few of those die cuts here, that I created in my little die cut frame making session the other day. I'm really enjoying piling on the layers like this and I have to say that having a stack of goodies in various colors already cut out and ready to go, makes it so easy....and fun!
Well, I got some exciting news that my new iPhone will be here today instead of Friday! What a happy surprise! Bart was teasing me last night about how dependent I've gotten on the crazy phone. (Never mind that he uses HIS all the time too! Haha.) I usually carry it with me all day if I'm going upstairs or back downstairs, or I'll tuck it in my pocket so it's close by. I can't tell you how often I've gone to reach for it since it broke, only to remember that it's not working. I almost reached down for the charger cord on my night stand to plug it in last night when we went to bed and then remembered that it wasn't in my hand! Haha. I use it for so many different tasks and such during the day.....it's even my alarm clock in the morning.
Anyway, it'll be nice to get the new one up and running. Perhaps I should name this one? :)
Happy Wednesday, Peeps! American Idol's on tonight AND Bartley doesn't have a game so he'll be home with me. Woohoo! Looking forward to a cozy night in front of the fire. Wishing you a little cozy of your own tonight.....
