Hello there!
Today, Nichole is making a few announcements about the Papertrey Stamp Designers and in honor of today's festivities, each of the Stamp Designers have designed a free tag image for you, available on the FREE Download below. There's also a contest today that comes with a big, big prize (ever wish you could work with Nichole to help design a stamp set with your own concepts/ideas?!?!?) and all you have to do to be entered to win, is to create a project using one of these free tag images! Check out Nichole's blog for all the details on how you can participate.
And just to get the creative ball rolling, each of the Stamp Designers have whipped up a project to share with you today, using our own FREE Tag images!
In fact, I created the first card and loved how it turned out, so I whipped up 3 more to create a sweet little set of birthday cards. After that, I couldn't help myself.....I decided to whip up a scrappy little gift tag as well!
Here's the set of 4 birthday cards. Don't they look so happy together? :)
I started out with a card base made from guide lines grid card stock. To that, I added a strip of distressed dots patterned paper that was die cut using my new Edgers #1 die and just above that, I added a strip of hawaiian shores card stock that was stamped with the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Enjoy The Ride stamp set and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
For that cheery little flower, I simply printed out my FREE Tag image, punched it out with a 1.75" circle punch and layered on stamper's select white card stock that was die cut with a limitless layers: 1.75" circle die, with a bit of foam adhesive. Behind the flower is a simple little strip of ribbon, folded in half to give the appearance of a couple of ribbon-y leaves.
All in all, a sweet and simple card that is super easy to recreate for yourself!
And now, let's talk about the little gift tag. Goodness, I love making tags. SO. MUCH. FUN.
The tag base is stamper's select white card stock that was die cut using the tag sale #3 die. To that, I layered a couple strips of distressed dots patterned paper and stitched them up with my sewing machine. The "Just for you" sentiment is from the Mat Stack 3 Collection stamp set. The little hearts were die cut using the love lives here dies, as well as the hawaiian shores butterfly. My FREE Tag Image was layered on two limitless layers: 1.75" circle die cuts this time and topped off with a hawaiian shores button. Summer Sunrise ribbon and poppy baker's twine finished this little guy off.
Well, I hope you've been inspired today to create a project of your own using one of the FREE Tag Images! Be sure to visit Nichole's blog for all the details on how you can participate in today's contest. And don't forget to check out the other stamp designers' blogs as well, to see what they've created for you.
Thanks for stopping by!
