Hello there....
A few pre-Valentine's Day flowers for you today. :)
I'm finishing up projects in the studio today for the Countdown, which starts soooooon. I'm so, SO excited to share what all I've been working on. SO excited. It's gonna be another busy, busy week around here, but also a fun one I think.
My sweet hubs brings me flowers regularly. I'm a pretty blessed girl, I know. Often times he'll stop at the store on the way home from work to pick up one grocery item or another (since it seems I rarely leave the house anymore. Ha!) and usually he'll pick up some flowers while he's there. We've almost always got a vase of fresh cut flowers on our kitchen table, which I absolutely love.
Bartley knows that I love COLOR and variety, so it's always a surprise as to what color or type of flowers he'll bring home next.....sometimes it's daisies - gerber or otherwise, sometimes it's mums, sometimes it's a flower I don't even know the name of. He doesn't bring home red roses very often, so as to keep things interesting, but since it's the week before Valentine's Day (and we all know the price for these babies will be about 4 times as much next week!), he brought home these gorgeous red roses the other day. I have to say that in the middle of winter, when it's positively FRIGID outside, bright red roses are just the ticket to brighten my day! Each time I walk into the kitchen and see that cheery red shining in the sunlight that's reflecting off all the snow outside and pouring in the window, I can't help but feel happy. It's for that reason that it just seemed like a good thing to share a little of that happy with you today.
