Hello from Cincinnati, Ohiooooo!!!
I'm in Cincinnati today for Papertrey's Stamp-a-faire event and wanted to pop in and show you a card I made featuring the new Iconic Images stamp set.
Iconic Images is the stamp set that Nichole Heady designed exclusively for Stamp-a-faire, however today, every person that places a $100 order at Papertrey Ink between 9am EST July 23rd and 11:59pm EST July 24th, will receive the Iconic Images stamp set with their order for FREE!!
Iconic Images includes some really pretty images that can be used for lots of different occasions....I happen to love this bird on a branch. A couple of my other favorites are the woman's cameo/silhouette and a lovely pitcher. Just wait till you see....I think you're gonna like this set too!
I used a piece of vintage book print for the background and stamped it repeatedly with a pretty little flower image from Iconic Images, to create the background pattern. The flower, turned sideways, makes a little "x", so it was easy to line up the points each time I stamped the flower.
I also used a Half & Half die on a bit of brown patterned paper from the Library Ledger stamp set and tucked it behind my focal point.
The pretty bird on a branch is one of my favorite images from Iconic Images. I masked off the branch to ink it up with hawaiian shores ink, and then inked the branch with dark chocolate ink. The "thank you for your kindness" sentiment is also from Iconic Images and a dark chocolate button was tied around the mat stack 3 layer with a bit of chocolate baker's twine.
