Hello there!!! Thank you so much for all of your sweet comments regarding my new Candy Cane Christmas and Holiday Lights stamp sets and the Candy Cane Christmas dies and patterned paper collection! I'm thrilled to hear that so many of you are excited about these new releases, but we're not done yet! I've got lots more to show in the next few days! (All of these new goodies will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on Sept. 15.)
For today, I thought I'd show you the new Think Big Favorites #8 stamp set which features 3 jumbo-sized sentiments from my Signature Christmas stamp set.
On this first card, the string of lights from Holiday Lights was stamped across the rustic cream card stock in dark chocolate ink and the circle bulb image from Holiday Lights was used to finish off the string of lights. After stamping the red bulbs, I used a glue pen to add some glitter to each bulb.
The "'Tis the Season" sentiment from Think Big Favorites #8 was stamped in pure poppy ink and just below it, I stamped the "Deck the Halls" sentiment from Holiday Lights in dark chocolate ink. The new holly jolly die was used to die cut the holly leaves from ripe avocado card stock and the holly berries from pure poppy felt.
Strips of dark chocolate and pure poppy card stock were added to the bottom of the card as well as a strip of patterned paper from my new Candy Cane Christmas Patterned Paper collection.
Next up, is a Candy Cane Christmas card. I stamped the large peppermint candy image on stamper's select white card stock and punched it out with a 1 3/4" circle punch. Glitter was added to the white stripes on the candy, with a glue pen.
The mat stack 5 die was used to cut out the kraft card stock layer and on that, I stamped the "ornament topper" image from Candy Cane Christmas, turning the peppermint candy into a peppermint ornament!!! A pure poppy baker's twine bow was added to the top of the "ornament" and pure poppy buttons were added on either side of the ornament.
The "Happy Holidays" sentiment from Think Big Favorites #8 was stamped on a piece of Bitty Box Basics patterned paper that I scalloped the bottom edge of with the medium scalloped border die.
This last card for today, gives you a peek at the third sentiment -- "Noel" -- from Think Big Favorites #8.
For this card, I used the Christmas Tree die from last year, and stamped the coordinating tree image from Tree Trimming Trio in ripe avocado ink. Then, I used the small peppermint image from Candy Cane Christmas to fill in the ornament spaces on the tree! Glitter was added to the tree with a glue pen, for some additional sparkle.
I stamped the striped background builder image from Candy Cane Christmas along the bottom of the card before stamping the sentiment. Strips of white and pure poppy card stock were added over the stripes. I drew a line across the white card stock with my glue pen and sprinkled on some Martha Stewart coarse glitter in crystal.
Well, I hope you've enjoyed today's projects! I'll be back tomorrow with some more fun peeks for you. For today, be sure to visit Nichole Heady, Heather Nichols and Jessica Witty for more sneak peek fun. Maile Belles, Melissa Bickford and Tiffany Pastor will also have projects to share featuring their newest sets.
Have a wonderful Sunday!
