Hey there!
Happy Thursday to you. You know what Thursday means, right? When it's Thursday, that means that Friday is tomorrow and we all know that Friday is basically, technically, sort of, almost the weekend which means that today is the day before the weekend which makes Thursday feel sort of like.....Friday. And everyone loves Fridays, right? Do you like my logic? :) I'm a little loopy, I think. Sleep deprivation will do that to a person! Ha. Been busy, busy over here at the McVey Ranch! Our dear Aussie friends headed home (we were SO sad to see them go) and Bart and I have been back to work and playing catch up after vacation. You know how that goes.
I know some of you have been chomping at the bit for an update on puppy Windsor. I'm happy to report that he had his 16 week check up yesterday at the vet and he's healthy as a horse! He also weighs almost as much. Ok, well maybe just 31 lbs. But compaired to the little 7.9 pounder we brought home 8 weeks ago, he's a chubsie baby now! He's getting tallllllll and lonnnnnng. He mastered potty training ages ago and now we're still just working on obedience training. But he's oh-so-good.....*most* of the time! He still has his moments.....when he gets tired, he gets cranky and then he gets bitey. And that's when we know it's nap time! :) Oh, and in case you were wondering, he's still ridiculously cute! Hee.
So for today, rather than listen to me ramble, how about I tell you all about that card up above?
This is the first project I made for the Studio Calico blog. You can pop over and read my post here, if you'd like. It's a Sunday Sketch Challenge, so if you want to play along, post your link over on the SC blog....I'd love to see what you come up with!
Now, I must tell you that I LOVE the colors in the Classic Calico line. They're all neutrals which I realize may surprise you that they're some of my faves, me being the COLOR girl and all, but there are such great colors and patterns in the Classic Calico line and they (here's the key!) GO. WITH. EVERYTHING. Here, I paired the neutrals with some splashes of red and I love the results. Also, that Mister Huey's spray? The one called "overdue"? Love. That's all.
I linked up all of the goodies that I used, below, so just click on the thumbnails to see the products.
Hope you're having a wonderful day!
