Hello there, Friends!! It's reveal day at Studio Calico and I've got a few projects to share with you using the new FIELD GUIDE & add-on kits! Did you snag any of the new kits this month?
This first card features the main kit, Field Guide. (Click the links below, to view the products I used on each project) I love, love that gray patterned paper and knew I wanted it to be the main background on my card and then I focused all of the additional elements around the design on that paper.
We were challenged this month, to choose a photo from Pinterest and use that as inspiration for one of our projects. I chose the above photo by the extremely talented Tara Anderson. Tara's work just makes me smile....every. single. time.
So this is the card I created, which was inspired by Tara's photo. I used the Perennial add-on for this one. I chose several elements from Tara's photo and incorporated them onto my card.....doilies, bits of aqua & red, lots of cream and buttons.
And one more project before I go......my San Francisco mini book using the Almanac add-on kit which features the adorable Amy Tangerine mini book!
I had a lot of fun putting this mini book together! Let me know what SC goodies you got this month! I'd love to hear from you!

I'll also have some puppy pictures to share with you soon.....a sweet neighbor gave us a baby pool for Windsor and it was hot enough today that we filled up the pool and let him get in it for the first time! Haha.....it was aDORable watching him get brave enough to get IN the pool and then brave enough to put his nose in the water and blow bubbles and THEN put his whole HEAD in the water, trying to retrieve his toys! So cute! The little puppy-head is teething at the moment, poor baby, so he hasn't been in the best of moods. Anyway, I'll share the photos when I can.
