As for me, I'm gonna be doing some shopping myself......for new glasses. You see, I bought some glasses two years ago. They're Prada glasses, which makes me feel a bit fancy, I suppose, though they didn't cost any more than all the other glasses at the store. But mostly, I bought them because they're a great shade of grayish-purple which I've never seen on any other glasses and they look great with my skin tone. I wore them for two years. I loved them for two years. I'd have kept wearing them for another two years. But they broke. And I was sad. And now, they won't stay on my face. And without them while I'm on the computer or reading (which, as it turns out, is all day long), I get headaches. I don't like headaches. So I'm off to shop for glasses -- with Bartley in tow -- because someone has to tell me honestly, if the new glasses look good or not. Never trust the sales person with important decisions such as this.
And since no blog post is as fun without pictures, the photo up top is one of several pretty flower photos I snapped in California.....I'll share the others as I have time. And below is a hummingbird sitting on a little plant cage! I have never seen a hummingbird SITTING anywhere. Zipping here and there, yes. But sitting? Never! We were sitting outside at a picnic table in Napa when he buzzed by and as we kept watching, he perched on the cage and Bart suggested that I go try and catch a photo. If I remember correctly, I scoffed at him as I got up to attempt such a ridiculous feat........and then I snapped the photo below! Haha. Thank you, Bartley. I love you, Dear. :)
