Hellooooooo there!!!
Goodness, it's taken me awhile to get around to finishing up this blog post today. But I'm here, finally, with another cheerful little poinsettia card to share with you.
I used some scarlet jewel felt to create this little guy and stitched up the flower on my sewing machine. For the patterned papers, I decided to change things up a bit and pulled out my Hello Luscious 6x6 paper pad by Basic Grey. These may be a fun and funky twist on the traditional red and green colors, but I think they work so well with this scarlet poinsettia.
I used another of the patterned papers from the collection along the bottom of the card -- I scalloped it up with the eyelet lace border die. The "Merry Christmas to you and yours" sentiment is one from Christmas Poinsettia.
Well, I'm off for now.....I have a gazillion photos to edit tonight, while Bartley's reffing a football game. Lots and lots to share with you in the days ahead. I hope you'll stick around! :)
