Hellooooo there and a very happy Friday to you! I don't know about you, but I'm thrilled that the weekend is upon us! Gonna have some family over, celebrate a birthday and just soak up as much time with my boys (Bart and Win-puppy) as I can. :)
For today though, I have oodles of projects to share with you......lots and lots of cards I made using the November Kit (Handmade) from Studio Calico! On these first four cards, I used ONLY the main kit (Handmade) with the addition of some button twine.
Card number two.....again, all main kit plus button twine. The papers in this kit are so fun. I'm loving all of that warm goldiness. :)
Card 3 is all main kit and I also used Papertrey's small scalloped border die as well as my sewing machine.
Card 4 -- all main kit plus button twine. As you can see, I had a whole lotta fun with this kit!
Next up is a card I made using only the add-on #1 kit -- Pin Cushion as well as some Mister Huey's Calico Shine spray.
See how shiney the papers are? I love how it made what were already vintage style papers, have an almost mercury glass feel to them. Very vintage. Love.
And how about that pretty trim??? Love that too. All from add-on #1.
Next up, I got busy with add-on #3 -- Tatting. This card features all Tatting goodies as well as some baker's twine and button twine. I also used a few different Papertrey dies here -- doily details die, tag sale #5 die and edgers #4 die.
More add-on #3 here plus woodgrain paper and buttons from the main kit. The only other addition is button twine. I stamped one of the butterflies from the kit and cut it out before adding a rhinestone brad.
One more little ditty for you today......this one again, is all #3 with the addition of the woodgrain paper from the main and some rustic cream card stock.
I used Papertrey's mat stack 3 die on the woodgrain paper.....love that thing. More butterflies from this add-on, stamped and cut out.
The "thank you" sentiment is from the same butterfly stamp set and I used a few tiny stickers to finish off my sentiment.
Well, I hope you've enjoyed today's projects. You can see the entire Handmade kit here and all of the add-ons here, in case you haven't snatched one up yet. :)
Hope you have a fabulous weekend!!
