Hello there!
I've got a wee sneakity-peek to share with you.....this one, from the Studio Calico November kit -- specifically add-on kit #1, called Pin Cushion. (Love that name) All of the items you see pictured on the above card are from the Pin Cushion add-on, with the exception of the card stock I used as the card base, and the Mister Huey's Calico Shine (that I can't stop spraying on anything and everything).
To say I've had a bit of fun with the November kits would be a slight under-statement. I've had a LOT of fun. I've got 9 cards whipped up and ready to share with you, if that's any indication. Once I got started playing with the kits, I just couldn't quit!
For those of you that might be new to Studio Calico, this kit filled with paper-crafting goodies will be available for purchase beginning on October 28 at 12:00 EST. Or, you could of course, subscribe and have the main kit sent to you automatically each month and then you have the option to buy these add-ons 12 hours before they're released to the general public. ;)
Can't wait to share all of this month's cards with you once the release date rolls around!
In the meantime, I'd better get back to it.....I need to check a few things off the never-ending to-do list today. And I have a feeling a certain little (big!) teething puppy just might need some extra love and attention when he wakes up. Poor baby's mouth was hurting him quite a bit this morning. He was whining just trying to chew on his bone. Thankful for ice cubes, which he seems to like when his mouth's bugging him. Poor sweet boy. I'll be glad when we get thru the teething stage. Some days it makes him a bit cranky. I can't say that I blame him one bit though! But the days when his mouth's not bothering him.....what a sweetie-pants. Yesterday, I walked him up to the elementary school and let him sit and watch all of the parent drop-off activity in the morning! Talk about a flurry of activity, what with all of the cars, and crossing guards, and parents walking kids (& dogs!) to school, and kids running to school from the neighborhood, and the school buses driving in, and the school bells! But he loves to sit and watch it all, and it's so good for him to learn to "stay" and not have to run to play with every person he sees! Generally speaking, I'm pretty sure he thinks that every person we come across is there solely to pet & play with him! Haha. Silly puppy.
Toodles,
