Hi there!
Happy Wednesday! Just thought I'd share a couple of cards with you that were on the Studio Calico blog recently. Studio Calico paired up with Operation Write Home for a blog hop and several members of the Studio Calico design team created cards for the hop that have been sent to the folks at Operation Write Home and will be sent on to members of our military for them to use to send cards home. These are the cards I created for the event.
I used some of Studio Calico's masks to create this big butterfly. (links to these goodies are below) I simply traced the butterflies onto various Memoir patterned papers and then cut them out. Easy peasy, but don't you love that big ole' butterfly?! Haha.
The "thank you" sentiment is from Studio Calico's Handmade kit, which I believe is now sold out. And that strip along the bottom? That's some of Studio Calico's fabrips. Um, I don't know why I had never used those before but they are funnn! Fabric with adhesive on the back, that you can simply tear to create strips for your projects. Seriously fun and easy!
Oh, and I should mention that the delicious green splotches all over the card are one of my new favorite Mister Huey's spray mist colors...Estate Green. Mmmm.
This little ditty features several Autumn Press patterned papers and die cuts.
The "thank you" is the same stamp I used on the first card.
I love how pretty all of the papers are when you use them all together.
Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday, friends.
