Hi-ya, Sweets!
So today at Nichole Heady's blog, she's introducing more new products for this month's release, and she's also got another fun challenge for you. I decided to play along with this one too! Are you enjoying these challenges? I'm having a lot of fun with them! Today's challenge is to make a card using butterflies and leaves. The butterfly part was easy.....I just pulled out my Signature Series: Butterfly stamp set and die. And for the leaves, I pulled out my current favorite leaves....the ones from the Harvest Berries stamp set. And of course, the fact that there are coordinating dies, makes them a cinch to use. Happy sigh....I just love that.
I also used the new Mat Stack 5 Collection stamp set to create the fun berry sorbet layer, and the new limitless layers: oval die came in handy for the cream layer behind the butterfly.
I also pulled out another old favorite, Polka Dot Basics II. Also, ummmm, did you get the new kraft ink yet???? That's it, in the photo above......both stamped on the cream butterfly as well as stamped with the dots on kraft card stock. I LOOOOVE that ink. Love it. I may as well warn you now, that you're likely to see a lot of that ink used around here! :)
