Hello there! Nichole is making some more fun Papertrey announcements over on her blog today including news of Papertrey logo products that you can now order online thru Cafe Press! Several of the stamp designers (including me) have contributed logo designs that you can have added to various items at Cafe Press. That means that if you'd like to purchase Papertrey logo items such as t-shirts, mugs and tote bags, all with the Raspberry Suite touch, now you can!! I'm excited to get my hands on some of these new items myself! You can view the Cafe Press items here. Head over to Nichole's to read all about it!
She's also sharing about a new series of patterned paper packs that Papertrey will be releasing this year, starting with two colors for this month's release. They're 8 1/2 x 11 paper packs in each of Papertrey's signature colors, each with a collection of 6 patterns and one of those patterns just happens to be one I designed using Damask Designs! You'll now be able to order patterned papers in each of Papertrey's colors in a collection of patterns including dots, damask, stripes, leaves and more! As you can see in the graphic above, Raspberry Fizz is one of the first two colors being released this month, in this gorgeous new collection. Isn't it just dreeeeeamy?!! I've already started using these papers and let me just tell you that they are gorgeous in real life! These are sure to become one of those basic staples you'll want to collect in every color!!
And now, on to the color challenge.....
The contest at Nichole's blog for today is a color challenge. Nichole is sharing each of the design team members' favorite color combos and you can choose one to create a card with too, if you'd like to play along. I have a few "favorite" combos, so I went with this one for today -- raspberry fizz, berry sorbet and ripe avocado. I created a card awhile back with this combo and I decided to whip up another for today's challenge.
I used Delightful Doilies to stamp the doily on the raspberry fizz card base, using raspberry fizz ink. Next is a layer of berry sorbet card stock die cut with a limitless layers: 1 3/4" circle die. A couple of Rosie Posie leaves are tucked in between the layers. They were cut from ripe avocado card stock and stamped with ripe avocado ink. Topping everything is a rustic cream flower that was die cut with the Friendly Flower die and stamped with a flower from the Hello, Friend stamp set.
Along the bottom of the card, I added a strip of berry sorbet card stock on which, I stamped the "Well, hello there" sentiment also from Hello, Friend. I die cut a strip of rustic cream card stock with an Edgers die and stitched a teensy strip of ripe avocado card stock to finish things off.
Be sure to head over to Nichole's blog to read all of today's fun announcements and to see what you need to do to play along in today's color challenge. The prize that's up for grabs??? A Cafe Press gift certificate and Papertrey's entire color collection of card stock, ribbons, felt, buttons and ink!!!!! That's HUGE!!!
Have a great day, friends!
