Hello there!! Well, we've made it to the end of Papertrey's anniversary countdown! Did you enjoy all of the festivities? I sure hope so! We're not quite finished yet though.....each of the design team members has TWO posts for you today featuring all of the other projects we haven't yet shared this week, as well as projects using Papertrey's new anniversary stamp set. For now, let's get right to this first project, shall we? It features Lovely Leaves and Think Big Favorites #13. How cute is that little branch with it's leaves and berries? That's from the new Lovely Leaves stamp set.
Also from Lovely Leaves, is the small "happy birthday." sentiment. The larger "happy birthday" is from the new Think Big Favorites #13 stamp set. I added a strip of dotty paper from the new Raspberry Fizz Pattern Pack, that was die cut with the heart border die. I just love those sweet little scallops. Along the bottom of the card are several patterned papers from both the Raspberry Fizz & Aqua Mist Pattern Packs. I die cut some of the papers with the double ended banner die and simply hand cut the wider flags.
Next up is a card featuring Frilly Flowers as well as the new Global Greetings stamp sets. The Global Greetings sets are not actually going to be released this month due to some changes that need to be made to the sets. You may notice a corrected "Gracias" sentiment on my card....I added the upside down exclamation point at the front of the sentiment, which is one of the corrections that will be made when the set is released.
How about that big ole flower?!! I used all 6 of the Frilly Flower dies and stamps to create that 6-layered flower. So much fun. I stamped the back two flowers with pure poppy ink, the middle two using raspberry fizz ink and the top two using berry sorbet ink. The "Thank You" sentiment is from Inside & Out: Thank You.
Next up is the new Beautiful Butterflies set. The Beautiful Butterflies dies were used to create the layered butterflies and don't you just love the font combo Maile used when designing this set?!
Of course, there's more of the Raspberry Fizz Pattern Pack paper here.....those papers are so darn versatile.
See what I mean?.....more.....
This time I used the damask pattern from the Raspberry Fizz Pattern Pack. To that, I added a rustic cream card stock panel on which, I stamped the frame from Framed Out #1 three different times.
I also used the Framed Out #1 die to die cut some of the patterned papers to pop up in the center of each square and then in the bottom right square, I also stamped the sentiment from Framed Out #1 on the center layer. The sentiment piece is popped up with double the thickness of foam adhesive, so it could stick up above the frame layer.
Next up is a card featuring Heart-2-Heart #1. The coordinating die was used to create those cute little coffee cups and I layered them on a mat stack 5 layer that was stamped with a frame image from Mat Stack 5 Collection.
The sentiment also comes from Heart-2-Heart #1. Just below that are a few kraft buttons, layered on a kraft panel that was impressed with the woodgrain impression plate.
I also have to point out that fun background.....it's images from Background Basics: Medallion, stamped in kraft and fine linen inks. SO subtle and pretty!
One more for now, showcasing the Lighten Up stamp set. I used the picnic plaid impression plate on the card base and then die cut some Aqua Mist Pattern Pack striped paper with the mat stack 4 die. That die cut was cut in half and added on either end of the card. The sentiment stamped at the top of the card, is one from Lighten Up.
The Lighten Up dies were used to add the lamps/shades to the card and a bit of baker's twine tied around the terracotta tile card stock finished things off.
Be sure to get around to visit all of the other designers today, to see the last of their countdown projects.
