This is the studio doorway. Windsor loves to go lay out in the hall at the top of the stairs while I'm working. I suppose that way, I can't leave without him knowing it and no one else can come upstairs without him knowing it. But the other day, I heard him making stretchy puppy sounds and looked over to see him laying like this. He lays like this ALL. THE. TIME. And I have to say, it's one of the little quirks about him that I love dearly. I've been showing you pictures of his hiney, while laying like this, since he was teeny-tiny....but I love that I managed to catch a photo of him laying like this from the front because.......well, just look at that face!
Remember this one from when he was 4 weeks old? It was the day we picked him out.
I've never seen a puppy that loves to stretch out more than this one. Whether it's on his belly like this, on one side or the other, or sprawled out on his back, legs completely spread eagle, this boy loves to sleep stretched out. Cracks me up and is sooo endearing all at the same time.
Once I started taking pictures of him in the doorway, he decided he'd better come in the studio. I guess he wanted to give me a proper pose. :)
But goodness, he was just toooo sleepy. Couldn't keep his eyes open. :)
Also, I would like to point out that his nose is totally changing colors. When he was born, his nose was black. Completely black. See.....
It was part of why I fell in love with him. He was the only boy puppy (in his litter of 11 puppies!) that was the fox red color with a black nose. The other little boy with the same colored fur, had a pink/brown nose. We loved that little black nose. I sometimes think, the Lord must have known we'd fall in love with that little black nose, so He let Windsor be the only boy with one, so we'd choose him.
Now, however, his nose is a mix of pink and black and we love him more today than the day we brought him home. I'm curious though, to see what color his nose turns out to be. I guess we'll see. :)
Before I go, perhaps we should attempt to make this post at least a little bit crafty-related....... *wink*
