Hey there! It's the big shopping day at Papertrey Ink! Tonight at 10pm EST, you'll finally be able to get your hands on this month's new releases. To help you finalize your wish lists and get all your shopping ducks in a row, the design team is sharing all of the rest of our projects that you haven't yet seen this month.
To start things off, I've got a card for you featuring Melissa Bickford's Tweet Talk stamp set and dies.
The tail feathers were stamped in orange zest ink and then I added some shading with a couple of Copic markers before I added a couple of rhinestones to the birds' tail feathers for a bit of sparkle. It might be hard to tell in the photos, but I also used the Sheet Music impression plate on the rustic cream card base to give it a bit of added texture and then inked the edges with some vintage touch tea dye ink.
Next up is Maile Belles' Trendy Tree Tops stamp set and coordinating dies, which I paired with the Tag Sale #5 die as well as my Background Basics: Newsprint stamp set.
I love that the tree top dies in this set, have a little cut-out....in this case a heart. Such a cute and stylish little detail!
This next card features Heather Nichols' Framed Out #3 stamp set and die. I also stepped out of my usual color box and threw in some Blueberry Sky card stock, ink and ribbon on this one! The frames, sentiment, tiny "Hi!" at the bottom of the tag, and even the background are all from the Framed Out #3 stamp set!
The background pattern was created with one teeny-tiny little decorative image from the set, which I stamped in rows, alternating the color on each row. It took a little bit of time to stamp the image 4,547,329 times, but the end result is pretty fun, no??? ;)
One more for you.....this one featuring Lexi Daly's new Baby Face stamp set. I stamped the little mobile images and paired it with the baby sentiment from my Tagged Sentiments stamp set.
I used the picnic plaid impression plate on the kraft card base for a bit of added interest.
