Hi there!
Welcome back for another fun Papertrey Group Post! Today, we're focusing on a new stamp set that Nichole Heady designed, called Teach & Inspire. If you are always trying to think of new gift and card ideas for the teachers in your life, then today's posts from the whole team should be right up your alley! I get the pleasure of sharing quite a few cards featuring this new set, with you today so let's get right to the projects!
Each of the design team members have a gift idea to share with you today, and I've put together this fun little cookie jar! Whether you make the cookies yourself, or go with store-bought, you can whip up this darling little cookie jar gift in no time!
I used a small mason jar and filled it with oatmeal raisin cookies. Next, I pulled out an adhesive sheet and stamped it with several of the banner building images from Teach & Inspire, using kraft, dark chocolate and pure poppy inks. After creating my custom banner, I trimmed it around the edges, peeled off the backing and adhered it to the jar, wrapping it up onto the lid as well.
I also attached a little tag (you could easily write the to/from info for the teacher, on the back of this little tag), with some pure poppy baker's twine. The tag was cut from stamper's select white card stock using the fillable frames #7 die and then I stamped the 'teacher' name tag image from Teach & Inspire, as well as the sentiment, "Looking forward to a wonderful year.". I also stamped the adorable pencil from Teach & Inspire, cut it out and adhered it to the back side of the gift tag.
Next up is a thank you card for teacher.
A kraft twill ribbon bow was tied around the card front and attached above and below the bow are acorns and leaves from the Autumn Acorns stamp set. A canyon clay button tops off the bow.
The tag was created with the Fillable Frames #7 die again, and the Teacher name tag image and another sentiment from Teach & Inpsire. I love the sentiment and couldn't wait to pair it with the acorns from Autumn Acorns!
On the mat stack 5 die cut, I stamped a flourish from Mat Stack 5 Collection, as well as the "Thank You" sentiment from Teach & Inspire.
The card base is canyon clay card stock that was impressed with the new Herringbone Impression Plate. On top of that, I added a layer of guide lines grid card stock that was die cut with the Front & Center #2 die.
Next up is a bright and cheery little card for a teacher....
I started out with a rustic cream card base and added a piece of summer sunrise bitty dot paper from the summer sunrise pattern pack. Next, I stamped a colorful banner using various images from Teach & Inspire using new leaf, dark chocolate, pure poppy, summer sunrise, hibiscus burst and hawaiian shores inks.
The new Teacher's Apple die was used to create the little apples and were stamped with images from Teach & Inspire.
Here's another thank you card, this one with Background Basics: Herringbone and a bit of pink thrown in! ;)
I started out with a kraft card base and topped it with a piece of raspberry fizz card stock that I stamped with Background Basics: Herringbone, using pure poppy ink. Next, I stamped the pointed banner image from Teach & Inspire on rustic cream card stock, followed by one of the stacked sentiments from the same set. I stamped the "Inspire" banner a second time, cut it out and popped it up off the cream banner. I also added a die cut apple, and sewed the banner to the card front on my sewing machine.
Along the bottom of the card, I added a couple borders that were stamped with images from Teach & Inspire -- the alphabet strip and the notebook paper, as well as the "Thank You" sentiment. Between those two strips is a strip of pure poppy bitty dot paper and some chocolate baker's twine.
One more teacher card for you...
I started out with a rustic cream card base and impressed it with the Herringbone impression plate. Next, I created another banner strip, this time turning the points toward the sentiment. This strip is layered on a piece of the royal velvet pattern pack paper (damask).
Along the bottom of the card, I added a die cut word from the Counting My Blessings die collection and a sentiment from the Counting My Blessings stamp set. The "Thank You" is from Teach & Inspire.
How about we switch gears now, and chat about Foodie Fun? :)
Here's a Foodie Fun card that is paired with Thanks All Ways. I stamped the "thanks" and "for the wonderful meal" from Thanks All Ways and then added a sentiment up above, from Foodie Fun...."A delicious meal shared with loved ones is one of life's many blessings".
Above and below the sentiment panel, I added pieces of summer sunrise striped paper that was cut with a die from the Fabulous Frames collection. A strip of dark chocolate card stock was added just under the sentiments and to that, I added a little die cut turkey from Foodie Fun!!
Of course, the orange zest card base is impressed with the Herringbone impression plate for the perfect finishing touch!
All right, dears, that's all I've got for you today, but there's tons more for you to see if you visit the other girls on the design team!
