San Diego, Here We Come!

Hi, Friends!

Bartley and I are off for a little getaway to San Diego today! We're affectionately referring to this as the Great Animal Adventure of 2012, since we plan to visit the San Diego Zoo, the Wild Animal Park and Seaworld! Haha.

Also, special thanks to my sweet sister and her hubs who are staying at our house with our boy. Windsor loves his auntie and uncle.....he'll be in good hands while we're gone. :)

He used that long season of illness to draw us closer to Him and we've also seen Him use our transplant story in amazing ways, to pour faith, hope and joy into the lives of others. Those years of struggle were so hard, but I wouldn't trade them because I can see how He was with us every step of the way and how He was using every bit of it for our good and His glory. My hope now, is that I can encourage you to choose joy in the midst of your own struggles. While you're here, I hope you laugh or smile or find some inspiration and encouragement. I hope you enjoy your time with me and ultimately, I hope you see some of HIM while you're here. He is everything. Much love, friends…
