Hello there,
So we had a list of errands to run today, but we decided to include a couple fun stops to get us started! We have the cutest little crafty store about 25 minutes away, called Urban Arts & Crafts. I've told you about them before, but they have some paper crafting items, a jewelry making section, a GORGEOUS fabric section and lots of yarn, glorious yarn!
Now that I'm knitting, it's become one of my favorite places to shop for yarn. Besides having lots of gorgeous yarns to choose from, it's just such a cute store! Haha. If it were closer to home, I could easily see myself hanging out there, knitting at their table with any of the other ladies that come in to work on projects. How fun would that be?
Good thing I don't have time for another hobby.....this photo totally doesn't do all of those pretty beads justice. They almost make me want to take up jewelry making! Almost. Haaa.
After Urban Arts & Crafts and before the rest of our running around, we stopped in at our favorite German/Austrian restaurant in town, Grunauer. It so reminds us of our trips to Germany and Austria and I love that! They have a lunch special that I love....2 sausages and mashed potatoes. I get the KÄSEKRAINER which is pork sausage with cheddar cheese. I can't even explain to you how delicious that sausage is, with cheddar cheese melting out of every bite. Happpppy sigh. It's delish. Trust me.
An afternoon of ho-hum errands was definitely made much brighter, by starting off with a couple of really fun stops! Tonight, we're tucked in at home, ready to watch the Kansas State football game. Bartley's just a tad excited....K-State is on fire this season! And you know what football on tv means, don't you? Time for me to knit!! :) I'll sit right by my honey and knit the evening away. Sounds nice, yes? :)
Hope you're enjoying your day!
