Hello, Lovelies....
Just popping in to share a pile of cards with you on this New Year's Eve! These were all created with Studio Calico's Block Party card kit as well as the Wildberry Court and Woodbrooke Road add-ons.
This first one uses the fun pocket from the card kit. I simply created a little insert that slides in and out, where I can write a message to the recipient. I used Papertrey's Turning a New Leaf die here, as well as the Signature Series: Flower die.
I confess that I could. not. stop. using these chipboard hearts! They're made so that you can add color to them with ink or spray mist or the like, but honestly, I loved the text on them so much that most of the time, I preferred them plain so that the text could really shine. Aren't they so pretty?
I also adore this woodgrain washi with it's teeny little hearts here and there! It's such a simple card with just the washi, hearts and one stamped sentiment, but it just goes to show that you don't need a lot to still make a really cute card!
I used Papertrey's Limitless Layers: 2 1/4" heart dies on this one, as well as a half & half die.
Here, I used Papertrey's mat stack 6 die as well as some of the beautiful blooms II flower dies.
See what I mean about the hearts? Simple and sweet.
The mega mat stack 4 die was used for the background.
And who doesn't love a cute little pupper?!! :)
This is a pair of cards I whipped up with pockets on the front of each. Pockets make for such fun, interactive cards.
I hope that you're having a great day and enjoying the last bits of this holiday season! It's snowing here today and Windsor is quite excited about it! We've been to the (front and back) doors to look out and watch the snow, at least 6 times already today. Haha! Plus, we've already ventured out to the backyard for one romp in the snow and it's still coming down. He's finally conked out on his blankie but I'm sure we'll have more snow excitement when he wakes up. Silly boy.
I also had the privelege of going with my sis & bil to Baby Benjamin's first photo shoot yesterday. I'll share more pics when I can, but for now, you can see sneak peeks of our time with my sweet photographer friend, Marissa, on both Twitter and Instagram. Benjamin was a perfect little baby model! Can't wait for you to see the pics!!
Looking forward to ringing in the new year with my favorite boys tonight....hope you enjoy a safe and very happy new year's eve!
