Hi there!
We've got another fun group post for you at Papertrey and today, each of the Design Team members have projects to share with you highlighting a gorgeous new set designed by Nichole Heady called With All My Heart. I am in love with this set, not only because of how beautiful it is, but also because of how versatile it is! I've got quite a few projects to share with you today, so let's get right to it, shall we?
First up is an anniversary card for my hubby. I started out by die cutting and stamping that gorgeous heart! The two heart dies are both from the new Limitless Layers: 2.5" Hearts die collection.....I adore these! I think they're likely to get a lot of use around here! The card stock heart was cut from rustic cream card stock and the pinked edge layer behind it, was cut from pure poppy bitty dot paper. I stamped the "Love you" heart from With All My Heart using dark chocolate ink, and then followed it up by stamping each of the letters spelling out LOVE, using pure poppy ink. The circle label image was stamped with pure poppy ink and punched out with a 1" circle punch.
Next, I used lots of sentiments and heart images from With All My Heart, to create a collage.....all stamped in dark chocolate ink on the kraft card base. I arranged all of the stamps on the card before I stamped anything, so I could get an idea for placement.
Next up, is a Valentine treat box, also for my hubby. I love this color combo for him....dark chocolate, pure poppy, kraft & rustic cream.
I started out by die cutting some kraft card stock with the Essential Pillow Box die. I'm serious when I say that this is currently my go-to packaging die. I love that thing! It's beyond easy to pop together.....literally just one strip of adhesive on the flap and you're done. The sides just tuck in so simply.....and this little box is perfect for all kinds of small treats and even gift cards. So handy!
I used a couple more Limitless Layers: 2.5" heart dies to cut out the rustic cream and dark chocolate hearts and stamped the "BE MINE" heart from With All My Heart, as well as the cute little "4 EVER". With All My Heart has several of those little sentiments that you can stamp in that cute little banner opening! I love that feature! I also added the circle label image again...the box itself was wrapped with some Dearest Jane patterned paper and the stripes from the pure poppy pattern pack, and then topped with some chocolate baker's twine.
Next up, we have to talk about my favorite heart image from With All My Heart! It's this darling polka-dotty heart with flowers and a fun little banner you can fill in the blank on! Before I could go any further, I had a little fun stamping several hearts and playing with color combos! Fun!
I've told you before that each year, I love making my sister a special birthday card......she was born on Valentine's Day and back when I used to buy birthday cards at Hallmark, had a hard time finding one for her each year. It seemed like the store only had one or maybe 2 Valentine Birthday cards to choose from. So now, I make my own!
She loves purple and it probably goes without saying that she has a thing for hearts. :) So the color choices were easy on this one....I started with purple! For the background, I used the Feb 14 stamp to create an all over background pattern and then filled in between each one with a tiny heart -- both from With All My Heart.
I thought it'd be so fun to have her actual birth date stamped all over the card! Of course, it just happens to be Valentine's Day too!
For the sentiment, I pulled out the Happy Day and Birthday Basics stamp sets, as well as a couple strips of Winter Wisteria card stock and Plum Pudding ink.
This little ditty is a Valentine I made for my love. Yes it has flowers on it, but you know what? It's for Valentine's Day! I don't think there's anything wrong with giving him a card that's a bit flowery and mushy!
I stamped the dots in dark chocolate, added winter wisteria flowers with plum pudding flower centers and kraft ink leaves.
The sentiment was stamped directly on the rustic cream card front and the kraft layer was die cut with one of the new Mat Stack 6 dies and layered over the top. Studio Calico gems finished this one off.
One more before I go today.....this one, a little engagement card!
For the heart, I stamped the dots in berry sorbet, the flowers in pure poppy and then the flower centers/accent image in dark chocolate, as well as the leaves. The little "true love" was also added in dark chocolate ink. The double-ended banner dies were used to add the 'congratulations' sentiments....both, from the new Just a Kiss stamp set. And of course, along the bottom, I added a strip of pure poppy card stock that was die cut with the heart border die.
I hope you've enjoyed today's projects! I can't wait to play with this set some more! Is this one topping your wish list now?? I think you're gonna love it!
