Hello there! Can you believe it's time for the Papertrey January Countdown already?! I'm thrilled to have a wee little stamp set of my own to share with you this month and the best part is that it comes with a wee little price tag too -- just $5! Let me introduce you to the latest Raspberry Suite stamp set called Happy For You! It's a sentiment set featuring 4 happy little sentiments, perfect for brightening someone's day. I can't wait for you to see it in action, so let's get right to today's cards, shall we?
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on January 15 at 10pm EST.
First up, is a card featuring my favorite sentiment from Happy For You (and also the smallest -- all of the others are larger scale than this one). I pulled out the Rosie Posie stamp set which goes PERFECTLY with this sentiment, I might add, and stamped the hexie background using lemon tart, harvest gold and summer sunrise inks on rustic cream card stock. Such a pretty, happy background, isn't it?
I used the Rosie Posie dies to cut out the flowers and then stamped them in raspberry fizz ink topped with some highlighting using a bright pink and a bright red copic marker. The leaves were stamped in dark chocolate ink as well as the sentiment, which I stamped on a strip of rustic cream card stock and notched the side with paper snips. Can I just take a moment to comment on how pretty that font is? Haha....I love the "H" and the "L"! Just sayin'... :)
Here's a simple and sweet little number that you can whip up in a snap! I started with a berry sorbet card base and added a piece of damask berry sorbet patterned paper and the dotted pure poppy paper. I cut the banner tails with scissors.
The sentiments from Happy For You fit PERFECTLY in the frames from the Celebrations stamp set!! So I used the Celebrations die to cut out rustic cream card stock and stamped one of the coordinating frames from the Celebrations stamp set in berry sorbet ink followed by the Happy For You sentiment in dark chocolate. For the finishing touches, I stamped a dotted line from Sew Simple Borders twice, using pure poppy ink, above and below the sentiment and added a Studio Calico gem on the bottom of the die cut.
That's it for me today, but I'll be back tomorrow with more peeks for you, at Happy For You!
Be sure to visit Nichole Heady, Betsy Veldman, & Danielle Flanders for lots more sneak peeks. (Betsy has some Happy For You peeks today!) Heather Nichols, Maile Belles and Melissa Bickford will have peeks at their new sets as well.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll chat with you again tomorrow!
