Hello there!! Papertrey's 6th Anniversary festivities are well underway now, and today, Nichole Heady is introducing each of the stamp designers for 2013, including yours truly. I'm thrilled to be back with my Raspberry Suite product line for another year with Papertrey Ink!
Each of us stamp designers have designed a FREE image for you to print out and use to create with yourself! And not only that, but each of us have also created a project using our free image, to give you a bit of inspiration!
The "happy birthday" image above, is the one I designed for this fun little event! I simply printed out two of them on stamper's select white card stock, and punched them both out with a 1 3/4" circle punch. Next, I punched the center out of one of them, with a smaller punch and then adhered the two together with foam adhesive. The birthday image is layered on a limitless layers: 1 3/4" scalloped circle die cut. On the hawaiian shores card base, I stamped a bit of Background Basics: Sheet Music with hawaiian shores ink. I used a little kraft bag (from Michael's) to create a pocket on the card, wrapping a paper doily (also from Michael's) around the bag. A few seqins (Michael's again) ;) finished the bag off.
For the pocket insert, I've used a bit of new leaf card stock on which I can write a little bonus message for the recipient. I stitched on a tab die cut (journal tabs die) that I stamped the "Pull here" sentiment on, from Movers & Shakers Sentiments. Lastly, I added a thin strip of ripe avocado card stock.
If you want to play along today, head over to Nichole Heady's blog to download the FREE graphics sheet so you can get crafty yourself! There's another fabulous prize up for grabs today!! I can't wait to see the birthday cards you'll make with my FREEBIE -- I hope you like it!
