Today, we've got lots more Papertrey Anniversary fun in store for you, including a little announcement Nichole is making about some Year of Flowers dies! *wink* And of course, when it's Papertrey's anniversary, there are lots of contests and lots of prizes to be won and that's where the Year of Flowers sets come in. You can read all the details on Nichole's blog.
Some of the Design Team members will be playing along today too, using our favorites in the Year of Flowers series as well as the new coordinating dies. One of my favorites is Year of Flowers: Violets. The thing I love about these flowers (aside from how cheery their real-life versions are), is that this set includes two separate flowers and two separate leaves that I can cluster and arrange any way I'd like.
I die cut two flowers and 3 leaves using the new Year of Flowers: Violets dies and then stamped all of the coordinating images using Palette Noir ink. I added a bit of shading to the flowers with the RV19 and R29 Copic markers and added some shading to the leaves with YG93. The card base is raspberry fizz card stock and I layered a piece of winter wisteria bitty dot paper on top. The sentiment from Year of Flowers: Violets was stamped on white card stock with ripe avocado ink. I topped the flowers with some rhinestones to finish things off.
All righty, that's it for me, but head over to Nichole's blog to read all of today's exciting announcements and to play along with today's challenge.....maybe you'll be one of today's prize winners! Good luck!
