Hello there!
How about a little more Ruby Rose inspiration on this bright and shiny Saturday? I've had this card idea in the back of my mind since the end of the Countdown and finally had a minute today to crank it out. I love when the idea is already there....makes it so fast to put it all together. I think this whole card took maybe 20 minutes tops!
I was so inspired by my sweet friend Debbie Olson not long ago....she made the most gorgeous floral background with a background pattern stamp and flowers over the top. I couldn't wait to try it myself, using Ruby Rose and this is the result. I stamped Background Basics: Tin Types first using pure poppy ink on berry sorbet card stock and then stamped various Ruby Rose images over the top. The Ruby Rose sentiment was stamped on a Fillable Frames #4 die cut and stitched in place. Then, to the back side of that entire berry sorbet panel, I adhered some Ruby Rose leaves and a strip of vintage book print. Lastly, I popped up the whole panel with foam adhesive on the cream card front. I love how this turned out.....favorite stamps, favorite colors, favorite book print.....all things that make me happy!
Hope they made you happy today too!
Enjoy your Saturday, sweet friends.
