Siblings - Love This Crazy Crew

Here are a few more pictures that were taken on Mother's Day, this time of me and my siblings.

I wish you could see what we're all laughing at in these pictures! Bartley was the one taking these photos and my brother-in-law, Chris, was standing next to him holding baby Ben. When we started smiling for the camera, Ben starting smiling at us! Huge, HUGE baby smiles. We couldn't stop laughing at him, which just made him smile at us even more. Sweet boy! So funny!

And here we are with my parents thrown in......and we're still laughing at Baby Benjamin! Funny baby!

During those years of being so sick, I got lots of practice learning how to choose joy in the midst of extreme suffering! ;) I'm so, so grateful for all that the Lord has done in our lives to bless us and to bring me to a place of health! He used that long season of illness to draw us closer to Him and we've also seen Him use our transplant story in amazing ways, to pour faith, hope and joy into the lives of others. Those years of struggle were so hard, but I wouldn't trade them because I can see how He was with us every step of the way and how He was using every bit of it for our good and His glory. My hope now, is that I can encourage you to choose joy in the midst of your own struggles. While you're here, I hope you laugh or smile or find some inspiration and encouragement. I hope you enjoy your time with me and ultimately, I hope you see some of HIM while you're here. He is everything. Much love, friends…
