Hi there!
It's time for the first of two Papertrey Group Posts and this time, the whole team is focusing on a set of new stamp sets by Erin Lincoln featuring some pretty adorable furry friends!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on October 15 at 10pm EST.
I've got a Christmas card to share with you as well as a non-Christmas card, both using Erin's Come All Ye Faithful stamp sets and dies. On this first card, I die cut the dog (whose ears remind me of Windsor's puppy ears!), stamped him in kraft ink and then die cut the sweater from aqua mist card stock and stamped it with the knitted pattern in hawaiian shores ink with new leaf ink trim. I also die cut a red nose and some antlers, and added a dot of glossy accents to the nose. The tag is stamped wiht a variety of sentiment building pieces from Come All Ye Faithful Additions, all stamped on a Tag Sale #8 die cut.
Along the bottom of the card, I used one of Erin's new Stitching Lines dies to add stitching holes.
Next up is a little girl dog, featuring the same knitted sweater and a bow from Come All Ye Faithful Additions.
Behind the tag, I added a block of new leaf card stock that was impressed with the Striped Sweater impression plate, to match the knitted pattern on the puppy's sweater.
The sentiments this time, are from the Come All Ye Faithful stamp set and I used a Stitching Lines die again, this time on the tag.
Here's a 2013 Holiday Tags card for you.....I couldn't resist pairing the snowflake tag with it's coordinating Damask Snowflakes dies!
The snowflakes were adhered with foam adhesive between them and between the tag, for a bit of dimension and everything was layered on some pure poppy bitty dot patterned paper. This card is a super fast one, for purposes of mass producing and for easy mailing, you could leave out the foam adhesive and adhere all the layers flat.
One more before I go -- this one featuring Boutique Borders: Thinking of You.
The Boutique Borders: Thinking of You die cut tag was layered on a Tag Sale #8 die cut and coincidently, the frame image from Boutique Borders: Sympathy works really well when stamped half at a time, on this new Tag Sale die!
Behind the tag is some rustic cream card stock that was impressed with the Herringbone impression plate and over on the right are more stitching holes with a new Stitching Lines die.
All righty then, I'm off for today, but be sure to hop around and visit the rest of the girls on the design team!
