Hello there! It's time for the Papertrey November Countdown and this month, I'm thrilled to be bringing you two new Raspberry Suite stamp sets, the first of which is called Background Basics: Needlepoint featuring two background building patterns reminiscent of the stitching you might see on a vintage quilt!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on November 15 at 10pm EST.
Here is a close-up of one of the two backgrounds included in Background Basics: Needlepoint. I stamped it in new leaf ink on aqua mist card stock and I LOVE how it looks in these colors!!
The focal image was built with the Lovely Layers stamps and dies using hawaiian shores and ripe avocado inks on the back layer, aqua mist and new leaf inks on the middle layer and new leaf and ripe avocado inks on the top layer. The medallion was then topped with a ripe avocado button and the sentiment, also stamped in ripe avocado ink, is one from Delightful Dahlia Additions.
This card gives you your first look at the other pattern from Background Basics: Needlepoint!
I stamped the pattern with versamark ink and then heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. It's super shiny in real life!
For the focal point, you can see a bit of the other stamp set I have coming out this month -- Boutique Borders: Congrats! I used the Boutique Borders: Congrats die and after die cutting it, I cut off the top half of the frame and stamped the bottom half of the frame on the die cut. The sentiment is one from Mum's the Word, stamped in dark chocolate ink and behind it is a strip of kraft card stock. The leaves were die cut with the Leaf Prints dies and a few dark chocolate buttons and sequins were added on top.
Lastly for today, is a simple card that is easily reproducible and could even be made into gift sets featuring a variety of different sentiments, making it a quick and easy holiday gift.
I used the Cutting Garden stamp set to stamp the flowers in pure poppy ink on the berry sorbet card stock and then stamped leaves from Cutting Garden, using berry sorbet ink.
The Boutique Borders: Congrats die was used on rustic cream card stock and I stamped the Boutique Borders: Congrats frame with berry sorbet ink. The sentiment is from Cutting Garden and was stamped with pure poppy ink.
All righty, that's all from me today, but I'll have lots more to share with you in the coming days, so I hope you'll stop back by tomorrow!
For today, you'll want to be sure to visit Nichole Heady and Betsy Veldman for lots more sneak peeks (both will be showcasing Background Basics: Needlepoint!). You'll also want to visit Melissa Phillips and Cristina Kowalczyk for sneak peeks too! Heather Nichols, Melissa Bickford & Lizzie Jones will have peeks at their new sets as well.
Thanks so much for being here today!
Have a great day!
