Hi there!
Welcome back for another fun Papertrey Group Post! Today, we're focusing on a new stamp set designed by Nichole Heady called Inside & Out: Well Wishes. This is a sentiment set full of encouraging sentiments for a variety of tough situations when cards are needed most and yet you might not know just what to say. Each of us on the Design Team have two Inside & Out: Well Wishes projects to share with you today, one masculine and one feminine. Up first, is my feminine card.
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on November 15 at 10pm EST.
In the upper right corner, I added a dark chocolate journal tabs die cut, that was topped with a dark chocolate button. I love that little detail!
I paired Inside & Out: Well Wishes with Mum's the Word, to create a really soft and pretty card. I stamped the sentiment from Inside & Out: Well Wishes using dark chocolate ink in the lower right corner and then began building the floral cluster around it, starting with the largest flowers in canyon clay ink. Then I added the medium flowers with melon berry ink, followed by the leaves in kraft ink.
Next, is a more masculine card. I paired sentiments -- again from Inside & Out: Well Wishes -- with Peaceful Pinecones, which I stamped in aqua mist and dark chocolate inks.
I ran the kraft card base through the vagabond with my woodgrain impression plate before layering the pinecone panel on top. A corner chomper was used to round that top corner.
Next up, I used Mum's the Word again, but this time paired with Background Basics: Needlepoint!
I die cut and then stamped the Mum's the Word flowers using pure poppy and plum pudding inks and layered them on a kraft Doily Details die cut.
The Background Basics: Needlepoint pattern was stamped on the rustic cream card base using plum pudding ink and the pure poppy sentiment is one from Mum's the Word.
And one more for you today.....this one highlighting Boutique Borders: Congrats!
This set lends itself beautifully to being able to create fabulous background patterns with it, simply by stamping only half of the frame in whatever repeated pattern you choose! In this case, I stamped it in rows, alternating the colors between pure poppy and berry sorbet, and alternating the half-frame right-side-up followed by upside-down on each row.
Along the bottom of the card base, I stamped one of the sentiments from Boutique Borders: Congrats and added a snippet of a mat stack 5 die cut topped with a threaded pure poppy button and a strip of pure poppy card stock.
All right, my friends, that's it for me today, but be sure to visit each of the other girls on the team!
