November Raspberry Suite Sneak Peeks!

Hello there!! In case you haven't seen them yet at Nichole Heady's blog, I have two new Raspberry Suite stamp sets coming out in the November release at Papertrey Ink, the first of which is the next in the Boutique Borders series! I'm super excited to show you this little $5 stamp set in action. The frame sort of reminds me of an old movie theater marquee! So fun!

The second set I have coming out this month is a background set that I think you're going to LOVE! It features two different stitched patterns that you might find on a vintage quilt. They look SO pretty when stamped!! Gah. Can't wait for you to see!

The official countdown runs from November 10-14th featuring projects each day that show these sets in action. And then, of course, everything will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on November 15 at 10pm EST.

Hi there! I'm Dawn McVey and I'd like to welcome you to my little corner of the internet. My hope is that you'll find this place warm and welcoming! I'm an artist with a heart for God. I worked as a graphic designer for ten years, before starting my own art business. I love color and all things vintage! My handsome husband, Bart, is also my best friend. I was extremely sick for more than 8 years and eventually had a rare small intestine transplant on October 28, 2017! During those years of being so sick, I got lots of practice learning how to choose joy in the midst of extreme suffering! ;) I'm so, so grateful for all that the Lord has done in our lives to bless us and to bring me to a place of health! He used that long season of illness to draw us closer to Him and we've also seen Him use our transplant story in amazing ways, to pour faith, hope and joy into the lives of others. Those years of struggle were so hard, but I wouldn't trade them because I can see how He was with us every step of the way and how He was using every bit of it for our good and His glory. My hope now, is that I can encourage you to choose joy in the midst of your own struggles. While you're here, I hope you laugh or smile or find some inspiration and encouragement. I hope you enjoy your time with me and ultimately, I hope you see some of HIM while you're here. He is everything. Much love, friends…
