Papertrey Ink - November Release in Review

 

Hi there!  

Today's the day!  It's release day at Papertrey Ink which means that tonight, beginning at 10pm EST, you can finally purchase all of this month's new releases, including Background Basics: Needlepoint and Boutique Borders: Congrats!  To help you finalize your wish list, the design team is sharing the rest of our projects today, from this month's release.

First up, is this fun card featuring Heather Nichols' Wonderful Words: Congrats stamp set and die. 

 

Here's a card showcasing Melissa Bickford's new Stitched With Love stamp set, paired with my Background Basics: Needlepoint.

 

 

I thought I'd give you a closer look at that background......I created it simply by stamping one of the Background Basics: Needlepoint images over and over, layering the images on top of each other using hawaiian shores and new leaf inks.  I love how it turned out!

 

Next up is Lizzie Jones' Fancy Footwork.  How fun is this?!  It makes me think of that time when Bartley and I took ballroom dance lessons at an Arthur Murray school of dance, for 8 weeks, because he got a great deal on a package from an auction thing they had in the newspaper!  Haha!  And how we thought we'd just be dancing with each other the whole time, but in fact were in a group and they had us rotate partners in some of the lessons -- so that we could "learn to dance well with ANYone" -- but how we ended up dancing with people that were super sweaty or super chatty or super nervous.  Hahahaha!!  I'm sitting here laughing just thinking about it!  Poor Bartley had to put his hand on some woman's SUPER sweaty back and he was not happy about it.  lol!  Fun memories!
