A Thanksgiving Outtake :)

So, I know that Christmas has come and gone and I'm just now getting around to sharing this picture here but it's too funny to skip, so here it is. :)

This Thanksgiving was our nephew, Benjamin's first, so just for fun since he was wearing his "my first turkey day" bib, we gave him the turkey leg (which his daddy would later eat) so we could snap a few pictures. The funny thing was, the turkey leg was so heavy that he mostly just dragged it around his high chair tray a bit. But he finally muscled that turkey leg into the air, and you should have heard the whole family yell as that turkey leg nearly went flying!! Hahaha. You can see his mama's hands flying into the photo as she tried to grab it before he dropped it! lol.

Good times.

Those years of struggle were so hard, but I wouldn't trade them because I can see how He was with us every step of the way and how He was using every bit of it for our good and His glory. My hope now, is that I can encourage you to choose joy in the midst of your own struggles. While you're here, I hope you laugh or smile or find some inspiration and encouragement. I hope you enjoy your time with me and ultimately, I hope you see some of HIM while you're here. He is everything. Much love, friends…
