My sweet little nephew, Benjamin, turned ONE in December and I've been meaning to share pictures of his birthday party with you ever since!
My sister and brother-in-law added a lot of super cute details that are just too fun not to share! They went with a baseball theme for the party and had baseball cards printed to pass out as party favors for all the guests!
The invitations looked like tickets to the ball game! How fun is that?!!
Except for the birthday cupcakes, all the food was ballpark food! Hotdogs, peanuts, cracker jacks, popcorn and nachos in official looking plastic nachos trays!! Haha!
Gracie also had a great idea for how to decorate one wall of the room they rented for the party. We used heavy duty twine and tiny clothes pins to hang nearly 100 photos of the first year of Benji's life! So simple and yet the guests had SO much fun checking out all the photos and remembering back to the preemie days in the NICU!
Hahaaaaa!! The picture in the top middle cracks me up every time!
Naptime was fast approaching so mama and daddy hustled him thru the opening of all his gifts.... :)
He was losing interest fast...LOL!
This one makes me laugh too! Poor bugaboo....they stripped him down to his onesie so he could eat cake but he wanted nothing to do with that baseball cake! Hahaha.
And then it was naptime.....
But first, he had to give bye-bye kisses to auntie (Uncle Bart had to leave early to ref a basketball game) and he apparently caught his second wind! Haha. He started playing with that balloon and laughing his little head off. It was pretty much awesome. His grandma snapped this picture and I'm so glad she did. I adore it!
Oh, how this boy has my heart!
Didn't Gracie and Chris do an amazing job on the party?!
And seriously, how can he be one already?
