I've got a few cards to share with you, so let's start with the most colorful one first, shall we? You're not surprised by this, are you? ;)
I used some of the white card stock from the kit with the Luxe Letterpress Plate to create that gorgeous embossed white panel.
Around the center portion, I used the tiniest super fine gold tape I ever did see (haha!) to create the super shiny gold border. Then inside that, I die cut some hawaiian shores card stock with the Luxe Letterpress die and embossed it with one of the small accessory impression plates! Then, inside the designated areas, I stamped the sentiments from the Luxe Letterpress stamp set using hawaiian shores ink.
Along the bottom of the card, one of the gold doilies from the kit is peeking out and just above that, I added a strip of tropical teal card stock, topped with gold baker's twine, also from the kit.
On this next card, I started with a rustic cream card base. There's just something elegant about pairing cream and white together.
Before I tell you about the card, I did want to point out the gold seal on the left (it's hard to photograph shiny gold! haha!). There are gold foil label sheets included in the kit, as well as a printable for these darling labels! I simply loaded a sheet of the gold foil paper in my printer and printed out the labels. There is a guide around each label shape on the printable, so you simply line up your die inside the guide lines and die cut the label. Easy peasy!
(See what I mean about photographing shiny gold labels? Haha!)
So, on this card, I used some of the super thick white letterpress card stock (220#) from the kit, with the Luxe Letterpress Plate once again. Then, I created the aqua mist layer, much in the same manner as the one on the previous card. This time, I used the Color Box metallic gold ink from the kit to stamp the frame and sentiments. I also added some gold sequins from the kit as an accent.
Around the white panel, I tied gold baker's twine and tucked in a couple white feathers from the kit. Lastly, just to the right of everything, I added a strip of another gold tape from the kit -- this one is obviously quite a bit wider than the super thin tape on the first card.
One more for you.....this one shows just how easy it is to create a gorgeous, yet super simple one layer card with this kit! I used the white letterpress card stock from the kit (it's kind of "soft" card stock and takes the impressions beautifully) once again, with the Luxe Letterpress Plate. Then, I left the center flat and simply stamped the frame in smokey shadow, followed by the sentiments in summer sunrise ink.
Here is another label that I printed out and die cut -- this one with a star in the center. It's hard to tell in the photo, but it looks so pretty with the card in real life. It'll be lovely on the outside of the envelope!
All right, my friends.....that's it for me today, but you'll want to be sure to visit the other girls on the Make It Market Kit Promotion Team!
