Hi there!
It's time for the first Papertrey Group Post of this release and today, it's all about spring! We've got several products we're introducing so to start things off, I've got a card to show you featuring the new Garden Grace stamp set designed by Nichole Heady. This stamp set is a beauty!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on February 15 at 10pm EST.
This card couldn't be simpler in terms of how quickly you can whip it up, and yet it's so elegant, thanks to these gorgeous and easy-to-use Garden Grace stamps!
I stamped the large leaves image once at the bottom of the card as well as a little snippet of the same stamp at the top of the card, using ripe avocado ink. Then, I stamped the large flower outline image in the opening of the leaf image, using hawaiian shores ink. Lastly, I filled in the flowers with the coordinating solid image using aqua mist ink.
The sentiment stamps are also from Garden Grace, stamped in hawaiian shores ink, and the whole panel was adhered to a Tropical Teal card base. (Side note: I LOVE how well aqua mist and hawaiian shores work with tropical teal!)
Next up is a fun new die that Nichole has designed for you to create adorable bunny treat packaging! The new Bunny Bag dies were used to create this adorable bunny bag. I cut the bunny and it's coordinating parts from rustic cream card stock as well as aqua mist bitty dot paper. Dots from Polka Dot Basics were used to stamp the bunny's eyes with dark chocolate ink and cotton twine was used for his whiskers.
And of course every bunny needs a cotton tail, right? ;) I simply adhered a cotton ball to the back of the bag.
I also created a simple little card from two tag sale #5 die cuts that were adhered together at the top. I scored the bitty dot layer up toward the top of the tag and adhered both layers together, above the score line, with Scor-Tape, before I tied a twine bow around the top.
The bunny and chick as well as the sentiment are all from Heather Nichols' new Hippity Hoppity stamp set. This little card can be given with the bunny box or could certainly be used as a gift tag on any sort of Easter gift packaging.
All right, so how about we switch gears just a bit? I've got a card for you featuring my Leave It Be stamp set. This would make a great birthday card for a guy! Another great thing about these leaves is that they aren't specifically fall leaves, so they make for great year-round application!
I stamped a variety of leaves on a kraft card stock panel, using new leaf, pinefeather, hawaiian shores and simply chartreuse inks. I love how, simply by stamping these bright colors on kraft, it tones them down and gives then a bit more masculine feel.
The sentiment and frame are from Boutique Borders: Birthday. The frame was stamped in new leaf ink and the sentiment, with pinefeather.
One more for you today.....this one is a fun birthday card that is quick and easy! Keep this one in mind when you need to whip up a card before running out the door to a birthday party! ;) What? You've never had to make a card before flying out the door for a party? Maybe that's just me. ;)
The garlands are from Birthday Style and were stamped with pure poppy, hawaiian shores and dark chocolate inks. I used the Boutique Borders: Congrats die and frame stamp to house the sentiments. Both sentiment pieces are from my new Birthday Classics: February set.
All right, my friends, that's it for me for today, but be sure to visit all the other girls on the team to check out today's scavenger hunt!
