Hello there! It's Day 3 of the Papertrey March Countdown and I'm back with a few more projects to share.....today, spring is in the air here and apparently the 75* weather has gone to my head! I've got some spring-inspired projects to show you so let's get right to it, starting with a spring-y little Background Basics: Art Deco number!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on March 15 at 10pm EST.
I created the flowers and leaves with The Sweet Life dies and stamps. The flowers were stamped with melon berry on the first layer, topped with hibiscus burst and raspberry fizz inks. The leaves were stamped with spring moss and ripe avocado inks.
I die cut some rustic cream card stock with one of the Half & Half dies, and stamped it with a sentiment from We Go Together, using melon berry ink.
As for the background, I stamped the arches from Background Basics: Art Deco with hibiscus burst ink and the diamonds in melon berry ink. The whole thing was layered on a melon berry card base.
Next up, a Birthday Classics: March card for you....
I used the new Monthly Moments: Journal Card 2 die, to cut out this scalloped little cream card. Then, I stamped it with lines from the new Journal Accessories stamp set, using hawaiian shores ink. I added a die cut flower that was cut with the Friendly Flower die and stamped with a flower from Hello, Friend. The leaves were created with the Leave It Be stamps and dies. The large leaf cluster was stamped with hawaiian shores ink, topped with new leaf veining and the other leaves were stamped with new leaf ink. A small aqua mist button finished off the focal point.
The sentiment was created with 3 of the sentiment-building stamps from Birthday Classics: March. The journaling card was layered on a piece of hawaiian shores bitty dot paper and that was placed on a diagonal, on a rustic cream card base.
One more springy card for you today......this one featuring Birthday Classics: April!
The sentiment was created with 3 of the sentiment building stamps from Birthday Classics: April, stamped in berry sorbet and melon berry inks.
Again, I used one of the Leave It Be leaves, to add some depth to the background (stamped in new leaf and ripe avocado inks, three different times) and then topped them with die cut Cutting Garden flowers and leaves.
All right, I'm off for now, but be sure to visit Nichole Heady, Heather Nichols, Melissa Phillips, Danielle Flanders and Laura Bassen for lots more sneak peeks. (Nichole and Laura will be sharing more Birthday Classics projects!!)
Erin Lincoln, Lizzie Jones and Melissa Bickford will have peeks at their new sets as well.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll see you back here tomorrow with more Countdown fun!
