Hi there! Happy Papertrey March release day!!
Today is finally the day that all of the new products you've been getting peeks at this week -- including Background Basics: Art Deco, Birthday Classics: March and Birthday Classics: April -- will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning tonight (March 15) at 10pm EST! Are you excited? Have you made out your shopping list yet? In case you're still having trouble making up your mind, the entire team has a few more projects to share with you today!
First up, is Putting Down Roots by Lizzie Jones! Good grief, how cute are these house plants?! I also used the new Wet Paint set, by Nichole Heady, for the sentiment.
Just a color tip for using the two-step options on the cacti....If you stamp off the base color once first, and then stamp it on your project, you get a much softer effect and therefore, those second layers will show up better. The cactus on the left is hawaiian shores stamped off once and topped with raspberry fizz ink. The one on the right is new leaf stamped off once and then topped with berry sorbet.

This card features Phrase Play #1. I couldn't resist pairing it with the anniversary set that came out last month, Bold Bouquet.
