Hello, Friend! (ha!) It's time for another edition of Stamp Designer's Showcase at Papertrey Ink! This month, I'm highlighting my Hello, Friend stamp set (which coordinates with my Friendly Flower die). This is a fun floral set that can easily be used year-round thanks to it's modern, typography-covered flowers! I've whipped up a couple cards to share with you today, that pair this previously released stamp set with some newer-release dies.....a perfect combo!
To start off, I decided to whip up a little card gift set. These came together so quickly and they pack quite the design punch! I love how they turned out. I die cut 6 large butterflies using the new Life is Beautiful dies -- 3 from card stock (hawaiian shores, new leaf and berry sorbet) and 3 from vintage book print. Then, I die cut 3 flowers using the Friendly Flowers die, all from vintage cream card stock and stamped each of the three flowers from Hello, Friend using summer sunrise, hawaiian shores and raspberry fizz inks.
Lastly, I stamped a different sentiment from Hello, Friend on each card, matching them up with the various text on the flowers. I ended up with a hello card, a thinking of you card and a birthday card! Easy peasy!
To finish things off, I added some envies and tied them all together with a bit of baker's twine.
And one more for you today.....here, I started out with a piece of stamper's select white card stock and stamped it with the same flower three times, but changed up the ink each time. (limeade ice, hawaiian shores, tropical teal) I stamped the sentiment from Hello, Friend with tropiocal teal ink and added a few Studio Calico gems to the center of each flower.
Peeking out from behind the flowers are some leaves die cut from new leaf card stock with the Leave It Be dies. Behind that is a layer of hawaiian shores bitty dot paper and the entire panel was adhered to an aqua mist card base with foam adhesive.
All righty, my friends.....do you already have the Hello, Friend stamp set and Friendly Flower die? If you do and you make something with it, share the link to your project here in the comments section! I'd love to see how you're using Hello, Friend this week! And if not, did it just get bumped onto your wish list? ;)
Thanks so much for sharing a bit of your day with me!
Have a goodie!
