Hi there!
It's time for another Make It Market Kit at Papertrey Ink! Betsy Veldman is bringing you another fabulous kit called Beautiful Brushstrokes, that will be available on July 1. I've got a trio of cards to share with you today, using this fun new watercolor-y kit!
Here's a little info about the kit:

- Beautiful Brushstrokes Additions stamp set
- Beautiful Brushstrokes Sentiments stamp set
- Beautiful Brushstrokes Additions/Sentiments stamp label
- Beautiful Brushstrokes die collection
- Beautiful Brushstrokes linen patterned paper pad (4-1/4" x 5-1/2", 24 sheets)
- 10- Fabriana Artistico Soft Press Extra White Watercolor Sheets (4-1/4" x 5-1/2")
- 4- Sticky Back Canvas sheets (6" x 6")
- Pastel Variegated Twine (6-1/2 yards, 20lb. hemp)
- Taffy Variegated Twine (6-1/2 yards, 20lb. hemp)
- 3mm + 5mm Clear Rainstones Mix in test tube w/ cork (approx. 250-300 pieces)
- Black & White Swiss Dot Washi Tape (12 yards)
On to the cards.....for this first card, I stamped the outline of flowers and leaves from the Beautiful Brushstrokes stamp set in pure poppy ink on some of the watercolor card stock from the kit, and then using the watercolor palette that comes in the kit, I watercolored each of the flowers and leaves.
I used a few of the "raindrops" from the kit, to accent the flowers and leaves. I simply adhered them with glossy accents.
The sentiment from Beautiful Brushstrokes: Sentiments was stamped with smokey shadow ink and just below it, I added a strip of washi tape from the kit!
Ahh, now here's a fun one.....I started out by stamping the dots and accent strips from Beautiful Brushstrokes: Additions using pure poppy, berry sorbet, raspberry fizz, hawaiian shores and new leaf inks. Next, I stamped the sentiment from Beautiful Brushstrokes: Sentiments, using smokey shadow ink.
The feathers were die cut from sticky back canvas (also from the kit!) and stamped with coordinating images from the additions set. Lastly, a couple raindrops were added for an accent and the whole panel was adhered to a hawaiian shores card base.
One more for you today.....on this one, I started out with a white card base and a piece of patterned paper from the Beautiful Brushstrokes patterned paper collection.
I stamped the frame from the Beautiful Brushstrokes stamp set, directly on the patterned paper, followed by a sentiment from the Beautiful Brushstrokes: Sentiments stamp set.
For these flowers and leaves, I die cut them from watercolor card stock from the kit and then stamped them with coordinating images from Beautiful Brushstrokes. Raindrops accent the centers of the flowers and a strip of washi tape finished things off!
I hope you've enjoyed today's cards! Be sure to visit each of the other girls on the Make It Market team, to see their Beautiful Brushstrokes cards!
