We've got a fabulous Papertrey Group Post for you today, featuring the newest Monthly Moments stamps, dies and papers! And of course, I've got some more Pack Your Bags and Birthday Classics: August cards for you too!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on July 15 at 10pm EST.
To start things off, is of course, my Monthly Moments card! I used one of the journaling cards from the paper pack to die cut the little flag at the top, and then stamped it with a little star image from Monthly Moments: July.
And of course, the travel theme of this month's Montly Moments goodies means they pair beautifully with the suitcases from Pack Your Bags! I stamped the suitcases first in fresh snow ink, and then stamped them right over the top of each, with summer sunrise, new leaf and hawaiian shores inks. I love the softer shades this technique creates! Dark chocolate ink was used for the hardware on the suitcases -- the bottom one was stamped at full strength and the top two were stamped off once on scratch paper before stamping them on the kraft layer. (No fresh snow ink under those)
The "summer vacation", arrows and circles are all from Monthly Moments: July. The sentiment was stamped with dark chocolate at full strength, while they chocolate circle was stamped off once first. The same new-leaf-over-fresh-snow technique was used on the small green arrow and the "road trip" was stamped with hawaiian shores ink on rustic cream card stock before being punched out with a 1" circle punch.
For this next card, I started with a piece of simply chartreuse card stock and stamped some leaves from Meadow Greens with simply chartreuse ink.
Next, I used the new Wet Paint Alphabet stamps to stamp the word "aloha" in ripe avocado ink, followed by a sentiment from Pack Your Bags -- "Have a wonderful getaway!"
The little suitcase from Pack Your Bags was stamped with raspberry fizz and pure poppy inks.
The green layer was adhered on top of some summer sunrise striped paper from the pattern pack and that is mounted on a white card base.
Ahhhh....the colors on this one just make me smile!!
The suitcases were stamped in simply chartreuse/ripe avocado, tropical teal/ripe avocado, melon berry/berry sorbet and berry sorbet/raspberry fizz.
This sweet sentiment from Pack Your Bags was stamped in simply chartreuse ink. I can't wait to give this card to my hottie hubs!!
One more for you today......this time, a Birthday Classics: August card paired with the new Year of Flowers Collection dies.
I stamped the flower images from Year of Flowers Collection using palette noir ink and then colored them with Copic markers. They're layered on a piece of smokey shadow bitty dot paper that is layered on kraft card stock that was die cut with the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 2 die. I cut a strip off the top of the die cut to allow more of the little notch to show, from the pocket behind.
The sentiment stamps from Birthday Classics: August were stamped with smokey shadow ink on an aqua mist card base.
The raspberry fizz pocket was die cut with the new Monthly Moments: Journal Pocket 2 die and inside the pocket, I tucked a strip of white card stock. I stamped the tiny medallion from Birthday Classics: August, just inside the little pocket notch!
When you pull out the white strip, you see the even bigger birthday greeting from Birthday Classics: August, stamped in raspberry fizz ink.
