Hi-ya! I'm back today with more Pack Your Bags and Birthday Classics: August inspiration for you, but I also get to help introduce you to a new set designed by Nichole Heady, called Big Ticket Additions, which coordinates with the previously released Big Ticket Basics die.
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on July 15 at 10pm EST.
For this first card, I started off by die cutting the tickets with the Big Ticket Basics die from berry sorbet, raspberry fizz and pure poppy card stocks. Then, I stamped each of them with ticket images from Big Ticket Additions using pure poppy ink.
They were tucked under a simple strip of white card stock where I stamped a sentiment from the new Keep It Simple: Thinking of You stamp set. A couple of melon berry buttons and some pure poppy baker's twine finished off the focal point.
I ran the kraft card base through the vagabond with the stitching impression plate, for some added texture!
Next up, I paired Big Ticket Additions with Pack Your Bags!
Three kraft tickets were die cut and stamped with three more ticket images from Big Ticket Additions, with fresh snow ink. On the center one, I layered a limitless layers: 1 3/4" circle die cut that was stamped with a bracket image from Big Ticket Additions, using pure poppy ink. And of course, on top of that, is a die cut suitcases from Pack Your Bags. The suitcase was stamped with raspberry fizz and smokey shadow inks and topped with an "away we go" die cut teeny tag and some pure poppy baker's twine.
On the berry sorbet bitty dot background, I stamped another sentiment from Pack Your Bags.....something sweet for your sweetie.
Here's another Big Ticket Additions and Pack Your Bags pairing, only this time, I added in a fun shaker card using the new Tag Sale #11 dies!!
First, the tickets.....they were die cut from aqua mist card stock and stamped with new leaf and hawaiian shores inks. The top one features two stamps from Big Ticket Additions, while the bottom one features a tag stamp from Big Ticket Additions, paired with a sentiment from Pack Your Bags -- "Missing you, come visit anytime!" The tickets were stapled onto a white card stock panel that was layered on a white card base.
And now, let's discuss that fun shaker tag, shall we? :) This consists of four layers. The back tag layer is aqua mist card stock and which I stamped Background Basics: Art Deco. Next is a foam adhesive "frame" layer that was cut from one of the foam adhesive sheets that you can now find in Papertrey's store. Next is another tag die cut from clear card stock and lastly is the top layer -- the hawaiian shores frame.
I stamped the background, left the foam adhesive IN the die while I peeled off the top paper backing and adhered it to the back tag layer. Keeping the adhesive in the die, helps it to hold it's shape and not get wonky on you. Then I adhered the top frame to the clear card stock with scor-tape, sprinkled sequins on the back tag (inside the foam adhesive frame) and sandwiched the front and the back together.
Topping the whole thing is one of the small suitcases from Pack Your Bags, stamped in new leaf and hawaiian shores inks.
One more for you today.....this one pairs Big Ticket Additions with Birthday Classics: August.
I stamped the "hello" ticket from Big Ticket Additions on a berry sorbet ticket die cut, with pure poppy ink. To that, I added the "celebrating with you on your" stamp from Birthday Classics: August, in smokey shadow ink. The ticket is layered on a raspberry fizz Mat Stack 4 die cut, where I stamped the "August" from Birthday Classics: August, and lastly the "Birthday" (also from Birthday Classics: August) was stamped on the kraft bitty dot background.
All right, friends....that's it for me today, but I hope you've been a bit inspired!
You'll want to be sure to visit Nichole Heady, Betsy Veldman and Maile Belles for lots more sneak peeks. Heather Nichols, Melissa Bickford and Lizzie Jones will have peeks at their new sets as well.
