Hi there!
We've got another fun Papertrey Group Post for you today, this one featuring all of the great new travel goodies coming out this month, including my Pack Your Bags stamp set & dies, my Tag Sale #11 die, Nichole Heady's Get Lost stamp set and Lizzie Jones' These United States stamps and dies! The entire design team has projects for you today, featuring ALL of these projects!! Talk about TONS of inspiration for you! :)
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on July 15 at 10pm EST.
My first card features my Tag Sale #11 die paired with the new Get Lost stamp set! I told you earlier in the week, that I'd be showing you how to use the 4th die in the Tag Sale #11 die collection, and today's the day! I die cut two layers of the main tag die -- one in white and one in melon berry. Then, I ran the melon berry tag through the Vagabond a second time, with the "flap" die positioned in the middle of the tag. It cuts out the little three-sided strip, which allows you to then "open" the flap! I went ahead and scored between the two points on the flap, just to make it fold a little easier. Then, I stamped on the white layer and sandwiched the two tags together! (Don't forget, you could add a layer of clear card stock between the two to make your luggage tag look even more realistic!!)
On the front flap, I stamped the "first class" image from Get Lost, with raspberry fizz ink. Then I added some die cut Friendly Flowers. The large flower was die cut from aqua mist card stock and stamped with hawaiian shores ink, topped with a white center stamped with summer sunrise ink. The small flower was die cut from raspberry fizz card stock and stamped with pure poppy ink. The leaves were die cut from new leaf card stock and stamped with new leaf ink. I tied a little baker's twine bow around the 'hanger' portion at the top.
Here's what you see when you open the tag -- 4 different stamps from Get Lost were stamped here....two at the top and two little box images at the bottom.
The tag is layered on some soft stone bitty dot paper with a strip of raspberry fizz card stock on an aqua mist base.
Here's a Pack Your Bags card for you.....this one clean and simple, but with a fun twist!
The suitcases were stamped with melon berry, raspberry fizz, berry sorbet and pure poppy inks and then the hardware on all of them was heat embossed with gold embossing powder! They look so shiny and cute in real life!!
The two sentiments are both from Pack Your Bags and were stamped with smokey shadow ink.
Next up is Lizzie Jones' These United States stamps and dies! I started with a hawaiian shores card base and impressed it with the Woodgrain impression plate.
I used the Kansas and Missouri states dies to cut out the states from hawaiian shores and new leaf card stock. I stamped each of them with abbreviations from the States Abbreviations mini stamp set, using smokey shadow ink. I also added a stamped star right over the intersection of the two, to indicate Kansas City!
The sentiments and heart are all from These United States and lastly, I added a couple strips of pattern pack papers in tropical teal and new leaf.
And of course I can't go without sharing one more Birthday Classics: August card with you!
The sentiment was stamped on a white Limitless Layers: 2 1/2" circle die cut in melon berry ink, topped with pure poppy on the sun. It's layered on another Limitless Layers die cut of pure poppy bitty dot paper. The card base is melon berry card stock that I used the Sunrise Impressions 1 impression plate on. Simple and quick but super cute!
All right, don't forget to check out the rest of the team's travel-inspired projects today! You won't want to miss any of them!
