Hi there!
It's time for the last of the Papertrey Group Posts for this month and today, we're highlighting a couple new stamp sets by Erin Lincoln, called Superstition and Everyday Cat Sentiments! You kitty lovers are sure to love these!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on August 15 at 10pm EST.
On this first card, I used a couple other new stamp sets as well as Superstition....the moon and clouds were created with the new Full Moon stamp set and cloud dies. The moon coordinates with the Limitless Layers: 2 1/2" circle die and I die cut mine from soft stone card stock and then stamped it with the round moon image in winter wisteria ink, topped with the cross-hatch image in silver ink to create a "silver moon". I also die cut the cloud from soft stone card stock and stamped it with silver ink.
The sentiments are both from the new Keep It Simple: Halloween stamp set.
Seriously, how cute is that kitty with his little bootie in the air while he rummages through the candy bag?! I used the Superstition dies to cut out the bag and candy pieces. The bag is stamped with kraft ink on kraft card stock and the candies are stamped with winter wisteria, pure poppy and dark chocolate inks.
Erin has also designed a companion stamp set called Everyday Cat Sentiments which will allow you to create cards year-round, for the kitty lovers in your life, using the Superstition cats. I used one of the sentiments here, from Everyday Cat Sentiments and paired it with a couple of die cut kitties from Superstition.
I also used a new die set to create the stars, called the Dangled Stars dies. I die cut the main portion from pure poppy card stock and topped it with terracotta tile stars.
Ok, next up is quite possibly my favorite Tick Tock card all week!! A Christmas cuckoo clock!!! Gah! How fun is that?!
I pulled out my Peaceful Pinecones set to stamp the pinecone background with dark chocolate and ripe avocado inks. The cuckoo clock is stamped with ripe avocado and pure poppy inks.
Notice the peppermint at the top of the clock?! That's from the Candy Cane Christmas stamp set -- a perfect fit!! A bit of prisma glitter was added to give everything a frosty glow!
These two sentiments are also from Peaceful Pinecones.....such a perfect pairing with Tick Tock!
One more before I go......this one, of course, features the new Birthday Classics: September as well as the new Leaf Prints Stitching Dies which coordinate with the previously released Leaf Prints dies.
I die cut the leaves from three different colors of felt and then stitched them up with three different colors of embroidery floss (all 6 strands). Each of the sentiment components is from Birthday Classics: September.
All right, friends....that's all I've got for you today, but you won't want to miss out on all the other girls' kitty cat projects!
