Welcome, welcome! It's Day 2 of the Papertrey September Countdown and I'm so excited to share more sneak peeks at my new Raspberry Suite products with you! Let's get right to it, shall we?
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on September 15 at 10pm EST.
This first card features my new Book Club stamp set. I used two of the sentiments from Book Club here.... first is the quote from Moby Dick, as well as a companion sentiment which says, "Choose joy". There are a variety of quotes included in the Book Club set, as well as a collection of these companion sentiments for all different occasions, so that you can easily use these quotes on cards!
I stamped the sentiments as well as most of the flowers on some guide lines grid card stock.
The flowers are from The Sweet Life, and I stamped them in a variety of color combos -- hawaiian shores/new leaf/tropical teal, melon berry/berry sorbet/pure poppy, and hibiscus burst/raspberry fizz/pure poppy.
Next up, I paired my new Season's Greetings set with Peaceful Pinecones.
I stamped this large sentiment from Season's Greetings on one of the new Basic Bookmark #3 die cuts (these bookmarks are so fun to use on cards!), with versamark ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I simply trimmed off the top half of the bookmark and was left with this super decorative sentiment tag!
SIDE NOTE: Many of the stamps in Season's Greetings, will work well on the card front OR on the inside of the card!
The pine branches were stamped with hawaiian shores ink and the pinecones were stamped with dark chocolate ink that was stamped off once before stamping on the white card stock. It just softens the brown color a bit.
One more for you today.....this one pairs the new Birthday Classics: October with the Harvest Berries stamp set.
I stamped the striped leaves with terracotta tile ink and the solid leaves with (stamped off) dark chocolate ink. The sentiment components are all three from Birthday Classics: October.
