Hi there!
Welcome back for another fabulous Papertrey Group Post! I'm so excited about today's post because the whole team is showcasing all of the new book themed products, including my Book Club stamp set, 3 new Basic Bookmark dies and Erin Lincoln's Stitched Bookmark dies!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on September 15 at 10pm EST.
To get things started, I've got a little gift ensemble to show you, just perfect for brightening someone's day! Included are a card, a gift tag and a bookmark! All that's left is to tuck a book or two into the bag and the gift is complete!
First, let's talk about the gift tag! One of the FANTASTIC things about my new Basic Bookmark dies is that they can also be used to create oversized gift tags!! I LOVE this feature! And they're big enough that you can really decorate them up any way you please.
I stamped one of the quotes from Book Club on some white card stock and layered it on the berry sorbet bookmark. I used the Basic Bookmark #2 die to cut out the bookmark and stamped it with Background Basics: Rainbows. Finally, I added a pure poppy sentiment strip that was stamped with one of the coordinating sentiments from Book Club...."Wishing you a happy day."
For the coordinating card, I used many of the same elements, this time starting with a white card base and stamping the rainbows in pure poppy and berry sorbet. I stamped the same sentiments at the top, again using the Basic Bookmark #2 die and trimming half of it off. These bookmarks make the greatest accents on cards too, whether you use the whole thing or just a portion!
And of course, the coordinating bookmark. For this one, I opted for pure poppy and raspberry fizz inks.
Next up, I thought I'd show you another gift tag -- this one made with the Basic Bookmark #3 die. I cut it from raspberry fizz card stock and stamped it with a sentiment from my new Season's Greetings stamp set.
Don't you just love that sentiment?!! Heehee.
I pulled out my Foodie Fun stamp set and paired the sentiment with the steaming pie images. Tape the tag to a coffee bag full of holiday treats and you've got a darling little gift for just about anyone!
And one more for you before I go.....we couldn't forget Birthday Classics: October today! I stamped a strip of Background Basics: Houndstooth in dark chocolate ink on the kraft card base. The Birthday Classics panel was masked off and inked with Canyon Clay ink for the text portion and terracotta tile ink for the decorative portion at the bottom.
Next, I die cut some Leaf Prints leaves using canyon clay, terracotta tile and dark chocolate pattern pack papers. Some canyon clay and terracotta tile buttons finished things off.
All right, Dearies.....be sure to visit each of the girls on the team to see all of their Book Club inspiration -- you won't want to miss a single one!!
