Hiii!! It's time for the Papertrey September Countdown and this month, I'm so excited to be bringing you three new Raspberry Suite stamp sets and three new dies! I've got lots to share with you today, and I also get to help introduce you to a new die designed by Lizzie Jones -- Text Block: Christmas!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on September 15 at 10pm EST.
First up, let me show you some Text Block: Christmas cards.....
I used the Text Block: Christmas die to cut out some pure poppy card stock and layered it on a raspberry fizz card base. I LOVE mixing in pink in my Christmas cards and decorations! I always do it when I make cards each year as well as when I decorate our home for the holidays. It just adds a bit of a vintage twist that I just adore!
Anyway, I used the Christmas Poinsettia dies to cut out pure poppy and simply chartreuse felt, to create the felt poinsettia. The flower layers were secured together with an old brad from my stash.
Next up, I used the Text Block: Christmas die on kraft card stock, but only used the top portion of the die cut and layered it on a piece of pure poppy bitty dot paper.
Below the "Merry Christmas" die cut, I added a strip of pure poppy card stock, some white card stock cut with the heart border die and a dark chocolate layer that was cut with a journal card borders die.
I used the Vintage Ornaments stamp set and dies, to create the ornaments and tied them with some cotton twine to finish them off.
Here, I paired the Text Block: Christmas die with the Holiday Lights stamp set. I stamped the string of lights along the bottom, using smokey shadow and pure poppy inks.
I die cut the Text Block: Christmas three times, from white, pure poppy and ripe avocado card stocks. Then, I cut the pieces apart and put them all together, laying the green portion on top of the red "Merry Christmas", and then layering the white frame over the top of it all.
One more Text Block: Christmas card for you.....this time I paired it with my new Season's Greetings stamp set!!
I die cut the Text Block: Christmas twice, from new leaf and ripe avocado card stocks and then simply layered the ripe avocado layer over the top of the new leaf layer. I taped all of the negative portions in place on the back, so they wouldn't pop out and that way I could adhere the whole thing to the card front with foam adhesive for a little dimension.
The card base is aqua mist card stock and I stamped it with lots of sentiments from Season's Greetings using new leaf ink. SUCH a cool typography-heavy background.....I just love doing this and these great sentiments are perfect for that application!
Next, I am so excited to show you these bookmarks! They were die cut with my three new bookmark dies -- Basic Bookmark #1, Basic Bookmark #2 (on the right) & Basic Bookmark #3 (in the middle). I die cut them from white card stock and stamped each with flowers from the Rosie Posie and Rosie Posie Step #2 stamp sets.
And here is a closer look at three of the sentiments I chose from my new Book Club stamp set....
The sentiments in Book Club will work well for lots of different card occasions, but they're also so great for bookmarks!
Aren't they so fun?!! Oh my goodness.....you could make gobs and gobs of bookmarks in a massive variety of colors and flowers or other images and sentiments.....I mean the possibilities are endless. I just have three here and they made me kinda giddy! Haha. I can't wait to see what you will do with these stamps and dies!
Ok, last card for today.....this one showcases the new Birthday Classics: October stamp set. I paired it with Autumn Acorns and Ombre Builders and once again, it's a classic birthday card that could be used for a guy or a gal.
All right, my friends, that is it for me today, but I hope you've enjoyed your time with me!
You'll want to be sure to visit Nichole Heady, Betsy Veldman, & Melissa Phillips for lots more sneak peeks. Erin Lincoln, Heather Nichols, and Lizzie Jones will have peeks at their new sets as well.
I'll see you back here tomorrow for lots more countdown fun.
What do you think of all these new releases so far? You know I'd love to hear from you!
