Welcome back for another fun Papertrey Group Post! Today, we're showcasing a DARLING new stamp set designed by Nichole Heady, called Songbirds! Not only is it a fresh twist on a Christmas theme, but it also has images that can be used year-round!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on October 15 at 10pm EST.
To get things started, I created a gift tag for a Christmas gift, using the Basic Bookmark #2 die. At the top of the tag, I stamped one of the strips of sheet music a couple of times, using aqua mist ink.
I used the Songbirds dies to cut out the bird and branch. The branch was cut from aqua mist card stock, but the bird was cut from white card stock and then stamped in pure poppy ink, with one of the images from Songbirds.
The sentiment is from the previously released Season's Greetings.
And here is a coordinating Christmas card using many of the same elements. The card base is pure poppy and I stamped a branch in pure poppy ink on the base.
Another Basic Bookmark #2 die cut was used upside down, with the bottom portion trimmed off. The die cuts and stamps are all the same as on the gift tag.
This sentiment is also one from Season's Greetings.
And here is a card using the little birthday song image from Songbirds and paired with sentiments from Birthday Classics: November!
The bird on the left was die cut in three colors and the chocolate bird was layered over a white bird with canyon clay flower bits tucked into the spaces on the dark chocolate layer. The little bird on the right was die cut from white card stock and stamped with an image from Songbirds, using canyon clay ink.
The sentiment elements are all from Birthday Classics: November and were stamped in dark chocolate ink.
