Hi there! It's time for the Papertrey November Countdown and this month, I'm so happy to have three new Raspberry Suite stamp sets to share with you, plus today I get to help introduce you to a new set designed by Nichole Heady called Fair Aisle Motifs! As for my new sets, I've got an encouragement sentiment set called A Cheerful Heart, a holiday (and year-round!) thank you set called Holiday Thanks and of course, the next installment in the Birthday Classics series -- Birthday Classics: December! I'm excited for you to see these sentiment sets in action, because I think you just might find that these are classic sets that you'll be able to get a ton of use out of! Let's get right to today's projects!
All of the new products you're getting peeks at this week will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink beginning on November 15 at 10pm EST.
For this first card, I created the background with Nichole's Fair Aisle Motifs. The set includes a variety of images that you can mix and match to create your own fair aisle patterns! I opted for a traditional red and white color combo and added a sentiment strip with raspberry fizz card stock. The sentiments are both elements from my new Holiday Thanks stamp set.
One great thing about Holiday Thanks is all the mix and match possibilities for sentiments that you can create, allowing you to use the set for Christmas thank yous as well as thank you cards year-round. But ALSO, there are a variety of sentiments using "we" as well as a variety of sentiments using "I", giving you maximum creative control!
Next up, I stamped a couple of the smaller images from Fair Aisle Motifs on an aqua mist background, with hawaiian shores and new leaf inks.
For the sentiment, I used the Holiday Double Cuts dies and layered the sentiment over a simple strip of white card stock. (Man, I still love those dies!)
Mmm....next up is a card that I'd kinda like to turn into a Christmas sweater! Haha.
There are strips stamped with various images from Fair Aisle Motifs, including those adorable reindeer (!), as well as strips of patterned papers, all in pure poppy and raspberry fizz.
The sentiment is from Birthday Classics: December and peeking out from the bottom of the whole panel, is a white Basic Bookmark #2 die cut.
Here's another Birthday Classics: December card for you.....this time, paired with Vintage Ornaments and Vintage Ornaments Additions.
I cut out a square from regular copy paper and used it as a mask, stamping the ornaments on the card base, inside the square cut out. After all of the ornaments were stamped, I created a frame with scor-tape and then sprinkled on some Martha Stewart glitter.
These three sentiment components are all from Birthday Classics: December, stamped in pure poppy and scarlett jewel inks.
And lastly for today, I have a card for you, featuring the new A Cheerful Heart stamp set! This set is full of scriptures and encouraging sentiments, as well as a variety of small companion sentiments (such as the "Don't Fret" you see above), that can be paired with the Bible verses, to make them more applicable to your card applications!
I started out by stamping this large verse from A Cheerful Heart in the center of the white card stock and then stamped flowers and leaves from The Sweet Life around the sentiment. Lastly, I added the "Don't Fret" at the bottom of the card to reiterate the thought behind the verse.
I can't wait for you to see all of the different words of encouragement included in this stamp set, that can be used for sooooo many occasions, when someone might need a bit of encouragement for whatEVER they might be going through at the moment.
I'll have more to share with you tomorrow!
For today, you'll want to be sure to visit Nichole Heady, Betsy Veldman, & Heather Nichols for lots more sneak peeks.
Thanks so much for spending a bit of your day with me! And if you've got a minute, I'd love to hear your thoughts on these newest stamp sets!
Have a goodie!
