Over the weekend, we got to go on one of my favorite fall outings, to our local apple cider mill. Last year, we didn't go because I was under so many food restrictions and the main reason we like to go to the cider mill, is for their apple cider donuts. :) So it was an extra special treat to make the trek this year, for those tasty little treats....
They have a cute little country store where they sell old fashioned candies, jams/jellies, apple butter, apple cider....that sort of thing. At peak season, they also have a corn maze, pumpkin patch and lots of stuff for kiddos to do, plus you can see the process of how apple cider is made.
But here's the reason we go......
I continue to feel so grateful for special little blessings in my life, like being able to eat an apple cider donut again. This outing always just signifies that fall is officially in full swing and winter is just around the corner. It makes me smile and I'm so glad we got to go again this year! {thank you, Lord!}
